How can our prices be so low?
Our tour operator in Greece can offer lower than
normal rates because of the unique way that they book the hotels. They
control 90% of the hotel bookings on the islands we use and they will instantly
confirm a hotel CATEGORY. Then, as your arrival day gets closer they shop
that hotel category for hotels who are willing to sell their rooms at 50%
off normal rate. You choose the hotel category that you prefer, and we
can confirm your space immediately. You will be guaranteed a hotel in that
category, but you will not know the name of the hotel until your arrival
in Greece. By doing this, our tour operator guarantees the hotel type that
you want, while supplying the lowest price possible.
How to Book:
Because of the nature of the programme Greek Island Packages can be confirmed
instantly. Any applicable insurance premium and full prepayment for the package
is payable within a week of booking. Credit card payments by American Express,
Visa, Mastercard and Diners Club are accepted.
For any other arrangements including individually requested accommodation,
transportation, local sightseeing, or coach tours a nonrefundable deposit of
Ca$100.00 per person is payable at the time of booking, and balance of cost is
payable within seven days of receipt of confirmation.
Changes to Booking:
Changes made 30 days or more prior to departure will incur a nonrefundable
administration fee of Ca$75.00. Changes within 30 days of departure may be
requested for a nonrefundable fee of Ca$150.00. Reconfirmation will come from
our Greek tour operator.
Cancellation Charges:
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing. Cancellation penalties are:
if canceled more than 30 days prior to departure a penalty of 10% of cost
of arrangements with a minimum amount of Ca$100.00 per person is incurred;
if canceled within 30 days of departure, no refund. Trip Cancellation Insurance
can be issued to cover cancellation fees, and if required must be requested
at time of booking with details of full names, dates of birth, and home addresses
being supplied. Premiums will immediately be advised, and cost debited together
with package cost or deposit in the case of individually requested arrangements.
Prices,
Currency and Exchange:
All rates listed are in Canadian dollars and unless otherwise stated, are per
person. Canadian dollar rates are shown as a conversion of the Euro dollar.
In the event that Canadian dollar rates change dramatically Hume Travel reserves
the right to apply a surcharge, or refund monies paid, as may be necessary.
Not
Included in Tour Price:
Package does not include airfare. Special fares are available. Please
check "Flights" in this regard, or ask your Hume Travel Agent
for best rates.
Documentation:
It is each travelers responsibility to determine and obtain those documents
which are necessary for travel to each country. Your Hume Travel agent can
advise necessary documentation depending on passport type.
Notice to Travelers:

General Conditions:
Hume Travel makes arrangements with our Tour Operator in Greece to provide
the services outlined in these packages, therefore, the services mentioned
are subject to those terms and conditions. Hume Travel does not assume responsibility
for the actions of the suppliers or any cost incurred resulting thereof.
Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of the information contained
